It made quick work of homogenizing cryptosporidium oocysts, whole drosophila bodies, and small microgram amounts of cryopulverized cardiac tissue. We also use it regularly to aid in solubilization of precipitated protein pellets prior to iST processing. It’s fast, easy to use and excels at homogenizing small volume samples.
