PreOmics also advances its ENRICH technology, with ENRICH-iST now featured in a peer-reviewed publication and ENRICHplus demonstrating success in scientific collaborations, enabling affordable discovery of thousands of proteins in human EDTA plasma.

PreOmics GmbH announces its new ENRICHplus technology, which enables the efficient and reliable enrichment of low-abundance plasma proteins to enhance the depths of plasma proteomic analyses up to 7-fold compared to neat plasma. This new single particletype kit enables fast, robust, automatable, and affordable processing of up to 96 plasma samples in parallel, retaining excellent quantitative precision.

Our collaboration with Bruker Corporation keeps getting stronger! PreOmics® has raised €13.5m in a Series B financing round provided by Bruker Corporation (Nasdaq: BRKR).

Less than a month after the successful launch of our new tissue homogenization solution, BeatBox is making its way to its first customer!

PreOmics®, developer of innovative tools for mass spectrometry-based protein analyses, has announced the launch of BeatBox, its new sample preparation tool for tissues and cells. BeatBox delivers tissue homogenization in a simple, fast and easy-to-use format and can process up to 96 tissue samples in 10 minutes from 1-5 mg of tissue, with no cross contamination.

PreOmics are pleased to launch a simple, fast and reproducible peptide fractionation add-on to our iST kit family giving increased proteomic depth. The resulting fractions provide a significant increase in the peptide and protein identifications from a single sample.

EMBL Enterprise Management Technology Transfer GmbH (EMBLEM), the technology transfer arm of the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL), Europe’s flagship laboratory in the life sciences, and PreOmics®, a developer of innovative technologies for mass spectrometry-based sample preparation, announced today that they have entered into an exclusive licensing agreement for EMBL’s proprietary SP3 technology, a high-throughput technology for proteomic sample preparation.

PreOmics® is extremely proud to announce that for the second time this year a study featuring our iST technology has been published in Nature. This time our technology is used in the Groundbreaking workflow of Seer Biosciences for rapid, deep and precise profiling of the plasma proteome with multi-nanoparticle protein corona.

It all starts with good preparation of samples. Landmark study by the Mann lab using our iST technology to process 100 different organisms, doubling the number of proteins known to the scientific community. Welcome to Jasmin Wächter who has just joined PreOmics®’ R&D team. She will focus on proteases, which are a key part of our iST sample preparation kits.
