Can you tell us something about yourself?
Hello, my name is Nicole and I come from Germany. I studied biology with a focus on biotechnology. In the field of natural product research, I looked for new biologically active substances from fungi and investigated the biosynthetic pathways of compounds. At that time, genomics was the new field of research. After my studies, I continued my career in sales and worked in the field for several years. This intense time with a wide variety of customers had a huge impact on me.
What's that you're doing?
Every day I am in contact with our customers worldwide. I answer incoming inquiries, support customers with quotations and process orders. An important part of my daily tasks is also collecting and processing customer feedback. This is the most important thing for me because we want to grow with our customers, and this feedback gives us the opportunity to constantly improve.
What brought you to PreOmics®?
During my PhD at a university spin-off, I got to know the energetic spirit of a start-up. I was, therefore, immediately convinced that PreOmics was the right company for my next career step. The common desire of all employees to provide our customers with good products and to support them in their daily work is what makes the working environment special. In 2019, I started at PreOmics in Inside Sales and progressed to Customer Support over the years.
