Can you tell us something about yourself?
Hi, I’m Inara. Originally from Brazil, I’ve been living abroad for nearly 10 years, which has given me the chance to explore different cultures, try new cuisines, and discover beautiful places around the world – things I'm truly passionate about. I hold a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry, and after a postdoc in Computational Chemistry, I transitioned into science communication. I started as a science editor in a publishing company and have been working with scientific content writing since then. I love inspiring curiosity and making science approachable for all.
What's that you're doing, Inara?
As a Scientific Content Writer in the Marketing Department at PreOmics, I’m committed to translating complex scientific and technical information into more digestible and easy-to-read content. I work closely with the team to develop marketing materials such as website content, newsletters, application notes, technical notes, and more. I also support product launches, presentations, and other customer-facing content to ensure our messaging is informative and engaging. My goal is to help make the science behind our innovations easier to understand while effectively communicating their value to our customers.
What brought you to PreOmics®?
Joining PreOmics felt like a natural fit, as it combines my passion for science communication with my chemistry background. I’ve always been drawn to roles where I can make complex science-related subjects more accessible and impactful. PreOmics caught my attention due to its commitment to advancing proteomics technology and improving research efficiency. The opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with experts to make scientific innovation more relatable was both inspiring and unique. I’m excited to contribute to PreOmics’ vision and help bring its story and innovations to a wider audience.
Anything else you would like to add?
"If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough"—Albert Einstein.
This quote has been a guiding principle throughout my career. Distilling complex ideas into clear, simple language is not only a sign of true understanding but also a key way to make our advanced proteomics solutions more accessible and engaging for both researchers and the broader scientific community. This mindset drives my work, ensuring that our innovations are communicated effectively and resonate with our audience.
